You’re a young copywriter. Maybe you’ve had your first experiences, or maybe you’re fresh out of the academy. You’re creative, dedicated, and you can’t wait to prove yourself. You enjoy writing, and you enjoy growing as a writer.

You’re exactly who we’re looking for.

In this junior copywriter position, you will support and shadow the copy lead in all things creative, big and small. This role provides ample opportunities for growth, and the chance to test yourself on a variety of projects and brands.

You’ll need to have:

  • an advertising agency background;
    excellent written English skills (other languages a plus but not immediately required);
  • a genuine passion for writing with a creative portfolio bursting with new ideas (student work also accepted);
  • some experience using and formatting footnotes and references;
  • familiarity with common ad formats, both online and offline (this includes emails, digital ads, social media, headlines for print, point of sale, etc.);
  • a positive attitude towards teamwork and office culture;
  • the ability to respond constructively to feedback;
  • a willingness to learn how different brands speak to their audiences in very different sectors;
  • an enthusiasm for creative thinking;
  • a desire to learn and contribute to a fast-paced, multi-disciplined, multi-sector agency.

Sayhello are currently looking for a talented Mid-weight to Senior Designer (depending on the right person and experience) to join our studio in the London Bridge area. You will have 4+ years experience in a marketing agency/studio and be ready to work as part of a close-knit team of designers and copywriter along-side an award-winning Creative Director and Creative Head.

Taking up a key role as an Account Manager with heaps of initiative and a willingness to get stuck in to any challenge, you’ll be detail-oriented and ready to hit the ground running. You’ll also be a people person with the ability to strike up great relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

As Account Manager:

You’ll have an agency background, and will seamlessly step into your responsibilities as you begin managing projects and building client relationships, helping them get projects over the line on time, every time, whilst always keeping an eye on the brand. You’ll be integral in delivering campaigns, supporting senior members with strategic projects and managing the work flows through the agency, all whilst ensuring all important brand consistency and eye for detail. You’ll perform well under pressure, bring loads of value, and naturally thrive in agency life.

In addition, you’ll need:

  • Experience of working at account manager level
  • Experience of working on both sides of account management – client service and project management, this is 100% a mixed role
  • The ability to truly understand your clients, what makes them tick and what keeps them awake at night
  • Ideally, integrated experience across digital, social media and marketing communications
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • To understand the unique requirements of working for a small agency
  • The ability to work collaboratively

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and management of marketing projects, individual assets and campaigns both on and offline, including print, web, email, social media and display advertising
  • Prioritising and managing clients’ expectations
  • Writing all briefs for the creative team and reviewing creative to ensure it answers the clients need and is on brand
  • Presenting new creative to clients, and providing insight or background 
  • Producing cost estimates and managing budgets to keep projects profitable, recognising early if a request is out of scope
  • Monitoring clients’ industries, immersing yourself in their industry news
  • Looking for opportunities to offer added value to clients

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years’ agency experience in a marketing agency
  • Previous experience working in an agency environment at Account Manager level
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills 
  • Excellent project management skills
  • A strong attention to detail
  • Above all, we’re looking for a positive, can-do attitude.

As A Social Media Manager:

You’ll have an agency background, and will seamlessly step into your responsibilities as you begin to manage all of our clients number one fans, followers, customers and potential new customers. You will work closely with all teams in Sayhello and portfolio of clients and through communications over social platforms you will help them to understand more about their consumers, customers, fans and followers than ever before, whilst always keeping an eye on the brand. You’ll be integral in delivering content, publishing calendars, media campaigns, responding to consumers, evaluations and supporting senior members with strategic social frameworks and new ideas in social. 

In addition, you’ll need:

  • Ability to demonstrate some campaigns and channels that you look after
  • The ability to truly understand our clients’ fans, followers, customers and consumers with the foresight to see how to drive reach to others like them

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with the senior team to develop social media strategies with the aim of increasing brand awareness and customer engagement
  • Analysing the long-term needs of our clients social media strategy and offering ideas, outlining any necessary changes to the overall digital marketing plan to help facilitate greater success. 
  • Creating captivating content (with the creative team) for all of our clients’ social media profiles, which may include blogs, articles, posts and multimedia content (working with the copywriter on these) 
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends and digital technologies
  • Developing monthly reports on emerging social media trends that will be presented to the clients 
  • Developing and overseeing competitions and campaigns to draw attention to a brand
  • Setting measurable goals for campaigns, measuring and showing the Return on Investment (ROI)
  • Monitoring and responding to customer feedback, comments and social media posts
  • Working very closely with the creative team, liaising with other departments to create a holistic and effective social marketing framework for Sayhello Agency. 

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years’ agency experience working in an agency on social media
  • Previous experience working in an agency environment
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills 
  • Excellent project management skills

  • Previous recent experience working in an agency environment at Senior Account Manager / Account Director Level
  • Integrated experience across digital, social media and marketing communications
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Previous line management experience
  • Above all, we’re looking for a positive, can-do attitude.
